Birthday Poem For Jenni Falconer

It's February the 12th, 2010
And birthday time is here again.
Today as you are turning 34,
I hope you received all that you wished for!

Your televisual career has been absolutely great
Since you made your debut on an episode of Blind Date.
Your sweet personality was instantly shown
When you selected Donda, weighing in at 18 stone.

You were already on your way to the career of your dreams
When your first presenting spot was shown as you turned 19.
From '95 to '98, you then worked for the BBC
Whilst still managing to study hard at Leeds University.

You had twice weekly strands on the regional Tonight Show
And quickly a contract with Yorkshire TV followed.
You worked on We Can Work It Out and also 3D
So you decided to place a hold on your Uni Degree.

Never needing to look back, you took off in every way
And since then you've worked on GMTV and BBC's Holiday.
We've seen you on the Lotto and Fantasy Homes by the Sea
Now Dictionary Corner beckons, and Countdown is where you shall be!

With too many successes to mention by name
I hope that this next year brings you more of the same.
Surprises, cards and presents, I hope you got many!
And finally may I wish you Happy Birthday, Jenni.
