X Factor Semi Final Live Results Show

It's X Factor time, and with one week to go
Somebody is so close, but alas they must go.
They must have been nervous, at least, that's what I think
As they failed to get all of their arms waving in sync.

Along with the miming, that was the only spanner
As the group performance was MJ mixed up with Rihanna.
Lady Gaga and Janet Jackson are next up to appear
On the penultimate Results show of the X Factor this year.

You'd think the celeb performances would go without a hitch
But I reckon Ofcom might have something to say about Gaga saying b**ch.
I wonder if Ms Janet Jackson will be able to keep it clean
Or will she suffer another wardrobe malfunction? We'll have to wait and see.

She pulled out some moves from her career gone by
And though she's knocking on, you must admit the lady tried.
Not exactly current, but she kept hold of all that she was wearing
And manged to get through the performance, with absolutely no swearing.

Dermot stands in centre stage as the contestants hope for survival
And at last he gives the verdict of who will make it through to the final.
Olly is the first to hear that his dreams are about to come true
And lovely Joe from the north east is the next one to go through.

Stacey and Danyl are left now and only one person's journey can go on
And the hand of the gods were smiling upon Stacey Solomon.
Danyl Johnson out at the last hurdle, becomes the one to go
So our 2009 X Factor Finalists are Stacey, Olly and Joe

It's time to say goodbye to Danyl, who was gracious in his defeat
And now we'll look forward to the X Factor Final on Saturday of next week.
Who will be our X Factor Winner for the year 2009?
I know who I think should win; wonder if your favourite's the same as mine?
