Twitter is a truly wonderful resource I have decided. I have come across some fabulous people that I wouldn't have perhaps "met" or even heard of if it had not been for Twitter.
One such person is Kelly O'Neill. She is a fabulous artist and I was captivated by her youtube videos of her drawing.

Anyway, the reason I have been inspired to post about her here is because I have just noticed (again, thanks Twitter) that it is her 30th Birthday today. She mentioned that she would have liked to be able to write and so I thought she might like her very own personalised poem.


So here goes.

Happy 30th Birthday Poem for Kelly O'Neill.

It's birthday time on the 5th of October
And your fabulous twenties are officially over.
Kelly, it's time for you to turn over the page
And start a new chapter as you reach 30 years of age.

You've had a great year as a newly-wedded wife
And you have a special talent as the Artist of Life.
Now as I am privileged to wish a Happy Birthday to you
I hope this year brings you success in everything you do.

As master of the pencil, your talent is clear
And so begins a fabulous and exciting year.
What will you capture? What will you draw?
I truly hope this year brings you all that you wish for.

So without further ado, enjoy this very special day
As your clearly devoted Husband whisks you away.
Remember you are only as old you as you feel!
