Eastenders Danny's Poem

This is the poem that Danny in Eastenders pretended to have written so that he did not have to show Roxy he had, in fact, been writing down the security numbers for her safe:

Once I was lost
Now I'm found
I'm not just another face in the crowd.

Now I have a family of my very own.
A place I call love;
A place I call home.

Now although this technically wasn't written with loving feelings in mind, it does show what well placed words, verses and poems can do. Roxy instantly told Danny he was sweet and gave him a family heirloom for his troubles.

Poetry is springing up in all forms of media; from soaps and films to adverts on the television and even on product packaging.
